PATIENT SLIDE SHEETS WITH HANDLES

Slide Sheets are made from Transtex, a specially developed fabric that is silicone-coated on both sides to provide a slick, low-friction surface for easier patient movement and repositioning.

Reusable Slide Sheets are blue in colour. These lightweight sheets are designed to remain with the patient during their hospital stay and should be disposed of when the patient is discharged or no longer requires the sheet.

Slide sheets are not intended for lifting. All patient manoeuvres must be carried out using sliding and repositioning techniques only, without lifting.

Flat Slide Sheets with handles are full-body-length sheets that can be used as a pair (back-to-back) or as a single sheet folded in half. They feature handles along three full sides, providing a secure grip for safer patient movement.
The handles are attached using a flag-style stitch pattern, ensuring strength and durability for both patient and carer. Handles along the short edge allow carers to give additional support to the patient’s head during repositioning.
