Bariatric Patient-Specific Slide Sheets are lilac in colour to allow staff to easily identify them. These lightweight sheets are designed to remain with the patient throughout their hospital stay and should be disposed of when the patient is discharged or no longer requires the sheet.
They are not intended for laundering. Lightly soiled sheets may be wiped clean using a dilute chlorine-based solution or an approved sterilising fluid.
